
Dan Jaszka is a partner and oversees the firm’s Tax Department. He is primarily responsible for review of firm research and quality control. Additionally, he is responsible for the firm’s tax research and compliance technology. Mr. Jaszka has extensive experience advising privately owned business entities on tax strategies and complex compliance issues, including:
Mr. Jaszka has written numerous tax articles and has been the lead lecturer for seminars covering a variety of tax issues, including tax advantages and consequences of 1031 real estate exchanges, multi-state income tax compliance, 199 deductions for manufacturers, and family limited partnerships.
Mr. Jaszka joined Shepard Schwartz & Harris in 1982 as a college intern and remained at the firm after completing his undergraduate education.
