W.S. Darley & Company — leader in fire safety, protector of homeland security.

W.S. Darley & Company, a family owned business, garnered praise from the Bush Administration for its dedication to producing and distributing high-quality fire trucks, pumps and equipment worldwide.

Paul Darley, president of the nearly 100-year-old company headquartered in Melrose Park, Illinois, was invited to participate in a town hall meeting with President Bush to discuss the company’s incredible growth.

The meeting centered on the impact of recent income tax cuts on aiding small businesses and fueling the U.S. economy.  The meeting, held near the company’s new manufacturing and research facility in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, was broadcast on C-SPAN (view the clip at www.darley.com).

W.S. Darley impressed the nation’s leadership, as well as its peers, being nominated for the Wisconsin Small Business of the Year award for 2004.

Darley products are an integral component of Homeland Security — a Darley fire pump was used to extinguish blazes on the USS Cole after a terrorist attack attempted to sink it.

W. S. Darley has solid roots at home, employing approximately 180 people in three states.  Its executive management team is entirely comprised of third generation Darley family members.  In fact, the new facility in Wisconsin was dedicated to Bill Darley, the chairman and Paul’s father. Throughout the years, W.S. Darley has upheld its commitment to providing cutting edge, quality equipment to support the fire industry and protect the public.

Their motto says it all. “Demand Darley.” Simple statement, powerful message.  SS&H salutes W.S. Darley and all our clients who contribute to the growth and development of our country with valuable business expertise.
